Google GPS (Google Partner Summit) is an annual, invite-only event where Google shares strategic insights, product roadmaps, and go-to-market opportunities with its most valued business partners. Our team was tasked with expanding their paper-based visual language into a fully realized event identity. My focus areas included the digital invite and the GPS website. At the time, I was actively coding emails through Mailchimp, so I volunteered to hand-code the invite—tailored specifically to Google’s unique specs. This meant stepping outside of Mailchimp’s native tools and ensuring the design rendered consistently across all major email clients, with a particular focus on the ever-picky Outlook. It became the most technically challenging—and ultimately the most rewarding—part of the project. The event went off without a hitch. Our team delivered fabrication, print, digital design, and planning. The GPS website served as a centralized hub, guiding attendees through key content, speakers, logistical details, and more.
